The Four-Year Scholars’ Pathway Track
In a first-of-its-kind opportunity at Marymount California University, students may graduate in four years and receive diplomas for both bachelors’ and masters’ degrees. The Four-Year Scholars’ Pathway Track begins in the fall semester of 2017, complementing the existing Five-Year Pathway option. Participating students may pursue an undergraduate degree in business, criminal justice or psychology, and then in their junior year, students may begin coursework for a graduate degree in business (MBA) or a Master of Science in community psychology. The total units for each combination vary from 146 to 160 units, and summer school enrollment is necessary to complete the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in four years.

The flexible class schedule, including evening, weekend and online courses, means that you can reach your career goals while also balancing work and life. You can also earn your degree quickly – the 46-unit Master’s degree programs are designed to be completed in just six flexibly-scheduled semesters.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMS
Students have a choice of concentrations within the Associate degree programs to explore their options and ensure solid preparation for a major at the Bachelor’s level. The close relationship between faculty and students enables an easy and integral advising atmosphere helping students identify their academic options and select a path that supports their educational objectives.
Courses include Criminal Justice, world Religions, Introduction to Literature, Accounting, Business Ethics, Microeconomics, Digital Photography and Imaging, Psychology, Anatomy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus and more. DISTANCE EDUCATION AT MARYMOUNT
MCU offers several online and hybrid courses within its degree programs. These can be taken remotely via our web-based Learning Management System “MyMarymount.” Online and hybrid learning provides flexibility when it comes to scheduling and produces student success rates comparable to those in on-ground classes. Online and Hybrid sections of courses are designated with a “.OL” or “.HY” extension in Marymount’s course offering catalog.
